Happy Turkey Day!
personall,y i'm no fan of turkey. turkey ham is bland, turkey breast is dry. i think turkey is eaten simply coz i think it was domesticated before chickens. but i shoulnd't blaspheme. betcha loads of people are fans of this brilliant day. and they've got clothing sales and school breaks, so i ain't complaining.
qianyi, daryl and i were just watching Iron Chef America. after a not-so-satisfying meal at TupTim. the food on TV looked really good! and we were discussing the dishes we'd pick to eat. what losers. haha.
the new season of Project Runway has started! whee! i'm rooting for Victorya.
one of the 2 pieces of clothing i ordered online actually arrived! it's like my first purchase ever. if you don't count the Creative speakers which daryl helped me with. it fits! i'm glad. best part was i bought it from a completely new seller. and it didn't help that she unregistered herself as a seller 3 days after i completed my purchases. now i'm just waiting for my second top! big smiley =)
i received a letter in the mail today. completely professional. just a one-page. but it's made me so happy! Ross (my school) mailed to say that they recognised my performance in the 2 exams thus far and they encourage me to keep up the work and perhaps to pursue an emphasis in accounting. it didn't just stop there, there was some mention of finance and maybe a Masters later or a CPA etc. i think, it's pretty far ahead. and basing all that on 2 exam scores is a bit of a rush.
just a fraction of the 500 students received the mail. i'm elated. but i know that even though i understand my material and i like accounting, i was just really lucky on 2 exams. simply coz there isn't enough time. and i guessed a good number of answers due to the time constraints.
i have been considering accounting and maybe marketing. but i am pretty uncertain. if i make it through the final with an A or A-, then i may very well follow through with accounting. it just makes sense.
