i'm waiting for FALL BREAK! it's no big deal really.. just 2 extra days in addition to the weekend. and the midterms that will plant themselves in my face are right after.
but still, it's FALL BREAK! i'm going to chicago! pity huilin's not going to be there.
daryl and i are heading to chicago for a short trip. just 2 days, loads of relaxing, maybe a jazz bar, some shopping. some food and movies. no rush, no hassle.
in our car. chilling to the max.
so just a few more days to go. if only i can finish up that horrid excel assignment. and hopefully my accounting grade will be decent.
cooked dinner today! daryl was busy with his exams, so i cooked stir-fried chicken with dried mushrooms, wolfberries and black fungus, steamed a tilapia with garlic, onions and oyster sauce, and fried some
doumiao. pretty decent if i may say so myself.
i am positive that i can cook better than my parents, my sister and my maid. but that's not much seeing that they don't cook.
turned on the tv at lunch when i woke up and i just couldn't get it off. it's really addictive. ended up watching 2 episodes of Ninja Warrior, 2 episodes of Clean House, Legally Blonde and Mean Girls. i've never actually watched a reality tv makeover where someone was utterly upset and horrified by the makeover that the hosts did for their house. it was really different.
that said, i only managed a chapter of my anthropology textbook. enough said.
