the speakers that daryl helped me order are here! i have just realised that the quality of music i used to listen to was absolutely atrocious. jaring and scratchy.
and my new speakers are so pretty. black and sleek.
the second half of the term is being a bitch. there's way too much work. and it's just gonna persist for a good 2 months. or 7 weeks actually. 49 days.
the holidays hold so much promise. and one of the best parts of studying overseas is that you really change environments when you go home. it's like i can cut out the whole 8 months here and enjoy the wholesome goodness of being home. of course, i'll be spending a good deal of time in shanghai, but i'm just glad to chill out. the sun really beckons.
loads of the americans must have gone somewhere sunny for spring break. one can tell by looking at their skin colour. either brown, red or peeling.
mine was largely uneventful. i went shopping, both 1 dress shirt and 3 sleeveless tops (it's summer to me), some black leggings and 3 pairs of earrings. i hung out a bit at the union playing Outburst and Pictionary and this Operation game.
more arcade and eating and just chilling. i guess what matters most is the quiet. (can't believe i'm actually saying this)
back to work.
