can't believe my luck. the jaw/gum ache, fever, flu and cough which had been plaguing me a week back, actually got better.
but the fever and flu came back. and the cough still hasn't gone away completely. it's scaring me how i'm so reliant on medication now. among the freshies, i've seen the doc here about 4-5 times for respiratory problems and another 2-3 times for other miscellaneous issues. my immune system is just way too screwed up. i really need to see a sinseh when i get back. to achieve some balance in my screwed up system.
classes have started. and i must say the schedule and workload this term is a lot heavier. i'm sad. if the subject is easy, there's a whole lot of requirements that need satisfying. and if it's hard, well that's another story.
i hate whining about it. i guess when i'm feeling better i'll be less glum about it all. there's even a ski trip coming up this martin luther king weekend but i seriously don't feel like going. much rather laze about and rest. i'm exhausted. and school's started a grand total of 5 days.
aside from that. i look forward to classes ending everyday. i'm always counting the hours, minutes and seconds. then i can meet dear for dinner or some time out. it scares me how someone who has lived her life independently for so long can't seem to anymore. *shakes head*
off to finish some work and shower now.

today's my early day. the original plan scheduled was to end classes early and buy myself a new down jacket. then either head back and sleep or atted the ceramics class and hope to get in.
i would really like to take ceramics. but looking at my already unpleasant-looking timetable, taking ceramics would involve ending late like everyday. so maybe i'll take it next term or take art or acting. whichever that adds to my creative expression credits.
reasons for getting a new down jacket. it's getting cold again. the long-awaited winter seems to have finally arrived. so the white christmas kinda eluded us last year. but the snow sure came sudden today. plus me washing my white down jacket in the washing machine has caused the down feathers to either escape the nylon covering or clump up miserably in lumps. the salesgirl did suggest drying it with tennis balls though to refluff up the down.
anyways. i did get a new down jacket. it's really thin but supposedly really warm. 700 goose fill full length north face black jacket. whee! and cost a bomb too. i was debating whether i should get a shorter arctic coat with waterproof lining and taffeta filling instead for the same price. it's warmer but less durable and the filling's synthetic. not to mention really thick and makes me look like a tubular sausage. so i got the one which made me look less sausage-like.
got back and ate my potbellies chicken salad sandwich. did my laundry coz i felt like using my new clothes and finished my korean homework in advance. well 2 days advance isn't much i guess. not when they pop up every day.
i shall study for a quiz now so i'll free up my evening. yay! sleeping early tonight! i'm elated!
