i've finished backpacking for my classes. at least backpacking for the classes that i want anyway. i don't know what i'll do if i don't get the 3 core classes coz there's seriously no backup plan for that. and no amount of tweaking will give me a schedule as good as the one i got this term.
i got my english paper back. it's A/A-! better than the previous paper by a little bit. i'm glad! the 4.0 still eludes me but i'm still happy anyway.
called home today. called my granny too and spoke with my aunt and uncle.
my uncle was frank about my granny's condition. it's not that bad. but it's not too optimistic either. and i guess my mom hasn't been giving me the full story. so today she spoke in the tone that whatever happens, happens. and that my granny is pretty content and all.
but this is all wrong. and i don't want it this way. i don't understand why i have to be away. and why i'm taking forever to learn how to speak cantonese. she's such a sweet sweet granny.
i'm so scared that she won't be there when i go back in summer next year.(ssshhhhh!)

thanksgiving just ended. all went by in a flash.
it was pretty fun. we got to cook ourselves some self-cooked dinner. so i did my cheesecake! baked two of them. one with chocolate fudge and one with strawberry topping and peaches.
we did some Black Friday shopping too. the lines of cars that piled up on the expressway 5 miles away from the exit really shocked me. so much for GSS in Singapore.
AAAAHHHHHH!
i'm irritated
and i can't even scream about it.
