i'm sooo tired. and classes haven't even started. i think i should just spend the whole of monday sleeping if i even intend to be awake on tuesday for my classes.
26 hours of sleep spread over 5 days. there's so much to do this welcome week. official and unofficial. technically i've missed the internationa students welcome speech and the convocation too.
but we've turned up for events like Artscapade and Escapade. we've played taboo in Bubble Island, had a sleepover, played floorball and frisbee and captain's ball. and i've passed my driving theory test and gotten myself a temporary driving permit. i've also bought myself a cushiony rocking chair and a baby blanket for my bear.
i really like my campus. it's so quaint and i enjoy just walking about even though i still get lost all the time. anni said she'll teach me roller blading sometime so i'm pretty lucky!
there's dinner tonight at buffalo wings. i need to shower and then we're gonna take a walk in the graveyard. tata~

it's amazing how when i'm out with my friends, i'm energetic and all. but now i'm home and surfing the net and i'm so sleepy i'm falling asleep at my computer.

hmm loads of new challenges.
just today i got my classes, math 216, sociology 100, asian language 135(korean) and cultural anthropology 202(ethnic diversity in japan). i don't have any of the prereqs that i need for entry into the b-sch so i'm waitlisting for english 124 which looks great and econ 101.
well i'm happy. though i've had an exceedingly long day and i kept falling asleep. my roommates also moved in today. it's hard to judge quite so early. i hope we all get along well. we're all quite different. there's still a good 8 months.
went to vincent's room to play mahjong today. but coz the driving theory test is tomorrow, we all ended up reading the material required for the test.
and we played floorball today! it's fun!
off now. gotta be up real early tomorrow.

i keep wanting to post a proper entry. but everytime i come online and i'm about to blog, there's other things to do and i'm so tired that i'm falling asleep at my table.
to start off, i'll say that i'm adapting a lot better than i thought. there's so many singaporeans here. and we're always organising meals, ball games, frisbee and mahjong. not to mention the activities which we have to attend or the school has planned.
i started out the day by meeting my academic advisor to discuss my module schedule. dropped my immunisation forms off at the university health service and walked around a bit, taking some pictures. waited around for Jean to finish with her academic advising and we went to Pot Bellies for lunch. and Stucchi's later for ice cream. hear this, say byebye to Ben & Jerry's. when there's Stucchi's, i'd have no other. there's B&J's right next door and yet we don't head there. this ice cream place is voted the best in Ann Arbor, it's cheaper. and it's less sweet with really delectable flavours. like PB Truffle Shuffle. which tastes like Mars bars with peanuts, peanut butter and caramel. and there's Batter's Up which tastes like cake batter and Pralines and Cream etc.
and i like my room. it's quieter now since my roommates haven't moved. but since my room's the first one from the front desk and it's a happening hall by american standards, i actually get quite little peace. i've been pretty lucky that it's only been noisy in the day for the past few days so i just have to evacuate my hall in the day.
off now. i need to pack my room, shower and do other stuff. like sleep.
