went to Suzhou today. it's actually a pretty pretty place but i just didn't realise that earlier. i suppose it boasts a different kind of beauty from say Shanghai or the Silk Route. i've been there before but i didn't sense it back then.

it's a quad apartment at mary markley.
it's all a step closer. and a lot more uncertain at the same time. in a month i'll be home. less than that actually. i haven't began revision for my final exams and i've barely touched my basic theory of driving book.
mich is here now. cheryl, her sis is going back tomorrow. it's been a few glorious days of fun and talking and laughing(belly-laughing). i've made some good friends here but nothing beats speaking the same grammatically incorrect language that we're so used to. what more when you put 3 st nix girls together, with so much more to reminisce about.
here's just an excerpt from one of our conversations last night. we were at Macs eating and coz of World Cup, they have this really large burger. 3 bits of bread and 4 beef patties.
cheryl: what's that burger over there? it's so big.
mich: Big Mac duh.
cheryl: what Big Mac? that's HUGE Mac. Big Mac's the one next to it.
xiaoyan was incoherent for a long while after that. being unable to talk from all the laughing.
anyway, we went shopping again today. my white denim skirt overalls were a steal at 80RMB and so was the Fornarina top. it's authentic and i know it would have cost at least 3 times more if i had bought it in the italian shop of that name. so happy. but we're so darn broke.
it's back to school tomorrow. i gave myself a couple of days of break.

my exhaustion is reaching unbearable levels and just imagine that i consumed 2 cups of coffee.
went to Qipu market again. bought more clothes. and a cigarette holder. insane right? especially when i don't smoke but it's so cute so i thought i'd just buy it for fun. haha.
off now. too beat to form sentences.

i'm ecstatic!
KOREA WON! haha. okay so netherlands and england and portugal all won too. the various teams i'm supporting. but was so darn happy just now! :)
i hope france and switzerland draws then there'll be a chance to get into top 16.
it's way different watching soccer here. ahh! i'm just so glad!
and ahn is still playing 4 years on. so maybe he's not so good now. but he scored a goal just now. and he's still so good-looking! haha.
right anyway, mich is here with me now. so's her sis. been going around and bringing them to see places. keep spending money. bought a bangle, 2 belts, 2 girl boxers and some tea. and tomorrow we're going shopping. can't imagine what will happen. my belongings already far exceed the amount that i can carry.
okay off now. more world cup to watch.
