it's a little late for a x'mas wishlist. but it doesn't matter anyway coz no one can buy me the gifts.

1. my family to be in good health and spirits and will not come to any harm.
2. get into BU
3. i want my Baby back.

but i must be gratefuly for what i have. today i found a memory chip and after slotting it into the camera, i realised that it contained pictures of my dog. though a little small, but nonetheless, i'm really thankful for them.

goodnight world.

yesterday was such an amazing day.

i haven't done anything quite like this in a long time. as it is, i've been pretty much cooped up at home lately. but my primary school classmates planned some kind of gathering a while back and yesterday, we just sorta made it happen.

we started by meeting at lik's place to bake cookies only to realise that we had self-raising flour so we decided on a butter cake instead. which turned out pretty well. and naturally, being girls, we had to talk for a long while.
we left lik's place at about 5.30pm, each of us donning a santa hat. we must have been insane. i mean, often people talk about doing things but don't ever really get down to doing them. not my friends though. we spent a long while just thinking back on all the things we did. there was even this book where we recorded the things we should say when a particular classmate decides to bother us. val, lik, mich and i are just 4 of the 8-10 members of the Writing Kit Club, founded so that we could write and read stories and exchange our masterpieces. none of us produced anything.

i haven't seen these people in ages and i guess not meeting up for the past 2-4 years or so, does make a gathering extra special. 4 of us took a bus from clementi in our santarina hats and attarcted so many stares. but it was all pretty fun. how often do you get to do such whacko things anyway? and people kept wishing us 'Merry Christmas!' it was pretty funny.

we had dinner at pastamania. each of us ordered one pasta and we shared a large pizza. don't remind me about the calories. there's loads. and i had my fusili carbonara of course. we took neoprints certainly(how not to when we bothered with the hats and all?)
then we set off to head to the Narnia fair to in time to catch the last show. there was some acting in there and coz of our hats, we kept getting called on to participate. it was all pretty hilarious. hmm..and to add, the guy with dredlocks acting as one of the warriors is really good-looking! black hair and olive complexion. *bish* i must be off my rocker. but he's cute anyway, not chinese singaporean coz he's prolly with the fair. go take a peek folks if ya want to.

and of course when we walked out, we had to take a picture with the fake background of Narnia. i'll upload the pictures sometime, when i figure how to scan the neoprints and stick them here.
finally wore my scottish kilted skirt out today after 6 years. i'm shocked that i can actually fit it now, though it's more of a mini-skirt since i grew taller in the past 6 years. also bought my travel diary from borders so i can lug it around in japan.

thanks folks! i had fun being a santarina.

can't you hear it sing?
