hello. i am back.
i've blogged a grand total of 3 times during the period of exams. (oh hear me! i'm speaking of it in past tense!)
i'll reflect on these exams as an especially trying period. it's been 13 days. and i almost thought i got it all under control. but not quite. there are these moments like today after the LAST paper when i just lost it. but by and by, you learn to believe that Baby's probably happier somewhere. and where he's happy, i'll be happy too.
we had lunch today. and walked aimlessly in town. or should i say, we had ideas on where to go but the crowd! i HATE crowds. detest them. i hate waiting, standing around without deciding. before the exams, for the past few months, all i've wanted is to shop and splurge. you check out the racks and find so many things to buy. but now, i can't help walking around and wondering why in the world there's NOTHING to get. and so MANY PEOPLE! sorry there, but i just have this tendency where i wanna scream and ask everyone in my path to shoo.
anyway, we caught Harry Potter today. i've never been much of a Potter fan. never did read the books. but after this 4th instalment of HP, i'll say that i'm ready to read the books. but kids should be barred from the cinema. i mean it. there was this most irritating kid who kept kicking my chair throughout the movie. and he was with his parents WHO ARE MOST UNDESERVING. GP question. something about tiny tyrants who terrorise others and gobble their food. i really wished i could wring his neck and stuff him in a bin and bang down the lid.
but aside from that, the movie was good. and i enjoyed myself.
then shar, debs, yihan, huilin and i tried to hunt for prom dresses. it's a big disaster. for one, Daniel Yam was packed. looks like the whole world is gonna wear their dresses. secondly, there's practically nothing elsewhere. and lastly, the CROWD! you'd think that students having their holidays have been enjoying themselves for a few weeks they'd be so sick of town so they'd let us fun-depreived bookworms have our share of fun. no, no. please think again.
the thought of tackling town tomorrow scares me.
last but not least. i bought The Very Best of Friends official 2006 calendar! yay! so pretty! and i got natalie imbruglia's Counting Down the Days. :)
food for thought: when you start loving yourself, people will start loving you.
