and the fire fades away
most of everyday
is full of tired excuses
but it's too hard to say
i wish it were simple
but we give up easily
you are close enough to see
you're the other side of the world to me
-- kt tunstall,
other side of the wolrd --
i'm in a blur now. i was supposed to come online earlier coz you know, belated blogging interferes with the integrity of events and you don't recall quite as well.
i went ice-skating with yihan and debs on tuesday. first time for me. and it's fun! i mean, i did land pretty painfully on my kneecap. and even though i practically didn't move at first, i can proudly say that i can glide quite well now.
i also borrowed The Virgin Suicides and Middlesex by jeffrey eugenides and Madame Bovary by gustave flaubert. finally reading some english fiction again.
i didn't attend ld today. they are having some celebratory dinner. but i came home after school. i'm having another attack of tonsilitis.one of the worse so far. my lymph nodes and tonsils have swelled to unbelievable proportions and awful painful. the pain's giving me a headache and i'm starting to cough. so technically the medicine is insufficient.
today was april fools. the class suggested that i act pregnant to bluff our CT/gp teach. but i declined so suan tried. but it failed unfortunately. i think our teacher didn't quite catch it. but it was interesting that the class could think up such a hilarious joke.
happy april fools!

i will never be a 'moderation' person. i realise when my exams end(they have ended by the way) either i stay up late or i sleep very early. i don't do normality. just got off the phone with yihan a while ago. we talk oh-so-much. at least me anyway. also posted an entry on the class blog, but it's a little weird. some error thingy?
brief summary. end bio blocks, headed to town, ate. kbox-ed. they had some lunch thing so we ate again. now i have a sore throat. i love singing, amzing how songs can voice what you're thinking and in such pretty lyrics with tunes too! i bought KT Turnstall's Eyes through the Telescope or something. it's this cd which tested pretty nice, haven't listened to it yet. bought my sister a birthday cake. the tiramisu from Swissbake at Taka is nice! and she likes it. apparently the mascarpone is creamy and smooth with just the right amount of sponge fingers and i could really taste the liqueur. generous amount of cocoa powder too! we decided that we're gonna ice-skate tomorrow! yay! decided to stay out of the sun. i'm getting burnt really easily so i'm avoidng it for now.
hit-me thought #1: the past keeps coming back. like you close a chapter and something appears to confuse you and throws your life off-blance.
hit-me thought #2: it started again. i'm now watching my life of last year unfold before my eyes. when does it really go away?
