i haven't blogged in a while.
went out with my mom on sat. bought 3 books and spent my kinokuniya voucher. one of which i've finished reading titled Eight Million Gods and Demons and speaks mostly of the cruelty of WW2. am gonna start on Empress Orchid tonight.
we went to make specs and i found a wide-set pair in gloss deep purple-blue. was all set on making it but i can't. coz my astimatism can't fit the 1.67 refractive index for plastic and i have to use something els.e so i'm just stalling for time now.
we went out to celebrate my results at Gordon Grill at Goodwood Park hotel. it was something with a killer price tag. and the food was so-so. i kept the wine bottle though. gonna zap my results slip and keep it inside with the bottle corked for a keepsake.
was at my grandma's house yesterday. my aunts cooked fish maw soup for me! yummy!
and today at school...sigh. i should have just stayed home. it was an utter waste of time. started off with PE and we were supposed to play games. we ran one round and it rained so we just stoned. i don't have to attend chinese class any longer, so it was another period free. then came break. then maths and the teacher was sick. then contact where we just slacked. then lunch. that was 5 wasted hours for you. bio lect was boring. and i did my own chem for chem tutorial. and GP? the teach monologued about totally unrelated stuff for 40minutes and had a lesson of 35 minutes before letting us off 45 minutes early. she assumes that just because it's the first 3 months, we should just do nothing. indeed i'll gladly do nothing, but we're here to make use of our time and not just hear her crap. i keep ponning GP class so i knew i had to attend today.
04S28 already has a bad reputation. apparently some teachers have been complaining that we have bad attitude. like whatever, coz i know we're totally fine. i bet our math teach finds us exhilarating. so i didn't pon GP coz i've been ponning one to many. and guess what? of the 8 girls from our class that makes up a portion of the GP class, only 4 turned up. seems like we're just gonna rotate the absentees, maintaining just 50% attendance. not surprising, coz she really ain't worth it.
it was really nice today. raining the whole time. all cool to the extent of cold. wished i was back in st nix, when everyone just wears a coat and walking by the specs stand is so breezy and chilly. just sat and read through the free periods keeping nice and dry. but not so when i tried getting home.
had to walk teh shelter out to keep out of the rain. and it floods over here and many roof plates and glass/plastic roof panels leak between the joints. the shelter was some 4-5cm deep in water. tiptoed on my canvas shoes trying to keep dry and guess what?
daphne and cheryl decided it will be fun to establish yet another unforgettable memory by splashing and kicking water. so i ran and splashed water on me, alina and the both of them. got my shoes and socks soaked and covered in a little sand and my skirt all wet. looked like i had pee-ed in my pants or something.
ooh. and i was the popular fair at suntec on sat. bought some cds(they were just 5 bucks apiece) though i've listened to a couple and i realise it's not really what i listen to. who knows who's jessica simpson?
right. i'm going. a good shower. and a nice book. and a cup of tea.
