I love you, the once and future King, Arthur Pendragon..
haven't been online in ages. at least 3-4 days anyhow. just as well. didn't see the need to.
was reflecting the other day and i realised that the thing which makes me very happy is reading. reading an okay book is just a tone down session for me. reading a great book makes me feel all satisfied.
just so, i have finished queen of camelot. beautiful. but it does make me wish that i never picked up The High Queen to read for i could still live in the slightly imperfect world of ruling and getting by in The Child Queen. i could have pretended or made up an ending, though imperfect, at least satisfying.
but(if you haven't read the book, you won't understand me), this ending, arthur being killed by his son mordred who loved his father so dear. and all the Companions dead, with but Lancelot, the last one, in existence. true, lancelot deserves pity, having waited 20 years, and he can finally be with the queen. but she rejects him though she loves him. for she loves arthur, the high king, too. bdewyr, gereint, ferron, kay, dynas, clegis....all dead. oh, cry for bedwyr! the kingdom of arthur's lost. and all the men who loved guinevere! arthur, lancelot, mordred, fion, gwillim.
i was weeping buckets yesterday. but arthur's story is most touching. 'tis a great book. though sad, but immensely beautiful. gone with the wind was my favourite book, and the best-written book i've read. this book, though not with such skills at describing scenes, it excels in describing calm contrasting with fear. it paints the feelings in their souls and brings the kingdom to life. queen of camelot has overtaken the other as my favourite book.

hmm gotta scram soon.
watched what a girl wants. today. pretty good. her dress was real nice. and the song too.
on mon, went shopping. bought queen of camelot, reading it now, it's great. get i'll never really read nowhere else on earth.
bought my confirmation dress too. and sentimental hits 2 and loads of other stuff.
going to celebrate my dad's birthday tomorrow. shall spring a surprise cake on him. i hope he likes the cd i got him and the tie mom got.
gotta shoo now. there's prayer night tonight.
